As this is our first blog on our new site! (I am definitely a therapist and not a website designer!) I think it only fair to honour it to Nick and Kurt and their wonderful donation!
Nick Carpenter and Kurt Dingle have generously donated to Room 2 Talk to start our bursary towards further subsidised and (for some) completely free open ended sessions for clients who may not be able to access therapy at our reduced fees.
Helen was in complete shock to receive a call from Nick in regards to this and promptly called me to let me know about this fantastic news. At the time I was at a family meal and was in such shock … that it was commented on that I was unusually quiet!
All I can do is thank these really kind, caring and supporting gentlemen for getting R2T further along its goal to normalising therapy for those who need it but can’t afford the funds or the waiting list. Again on behalf of the team at R2T. Thank you!
